ARTSOPOLIS

One of the Arts Council’s most successful programs is the Artsopolis Marketing Partnership (AMP) and Artsopolis.com, Silicon Valley’s leading calendaring website dedicated to promoting the region’s arts and cultural scene. To view this project, click on the logo above.

Online Ticketing was introduced in mid-October 2005, allowing consumers to purchase half-price tickets directly through the eSavers promotional email, as well as full-price and discounted tickets (other than half-price) in Artsopolis.com’s new Ticket Marketplace.  While online distribution/purchasing is in its infancy, nearly $15,000 has already been returned to the participating organizations.

Online ticketing also provides AMP with reporting functions that were previously unavailable. This reporting will, in turn, allow us to accurately measure the impact of the service.  In addition, we are now capturing the names, addresses, and email addresses of every purchaser, and this information is being passed along to the organizations for them to utilize in their individual audience development efforts.
