A Program of Arts Council Silicon Valley

Applied Materials Excellence in the Arts grants program enables Arts Council Silicon Valley to provide funding opportunities to its grantee base in two focus areas (1) Project Support (PS) and (2) Technical Assistance (TECH).

There are NO deadlines for Technical Assistance grant applications. Applications are reviewed monthly.

REFLECTIONS ON THE AMERICANS FOR THE ARTS CONFERENCE, SEATTLE,  WA, JUNE 18-20, 2009

Mixed media installation artist, Flo Oy Wong, Jess Moreles, Executive Director of Teatro Vision, and Jeffry Walker, Executive Director of the Community School of Music and Arts, recently attended the Americans for the Arts Conference in Seattle, WA, as a result of support from the Arts Council and a "Leadership & Organizational Enhancement Scholarship" from Applied Materials. The following article reflects Flo's and Jess' experiences and growth as a result of attending the conference. We thank them for sharing their experiences with all of us.
