Applied Materials Excellence in the Arts grants program enables Arts Council Silicon Valley to provide funding opportunities to its grantee base in two focus areas (1) Project Support (PS) and (2) Technical Assistance (TECH).

Mixed media installation artist, Flo Oy Wong, Jess Moreles, Executive Director of Teatro Vision, and Jeffry Walker, Executive Director of the Community School of Music and Arts, recently attended the Americans for the Arts Conference in Seattle, WA, as a result of support from the Arts Council and a "Leadership & Organizational Enhancement Scholarship" from Applied Materials. PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND,

Roy Hirabayashi, Executive Director of San Jose Taiko, recently attended the 2009 National Arts Marketing Project (NAMP) Conference, in Providence, RI, as a result of support from the Arts Council and a "Leadership & Organizational Enhancement Scholarship from Applied Materials.
