    Arts Council Silicon Valley is proud to support our arts community through a number of different grant opportunities and programs for organizations.

    NEW! Tech4Audience
    A pilot grants program funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation provides support to San Jose-based arts and cultural organizations with budgets under $2 million. Cash awards were granted to implement technology-driven audience development strategies that will maintain, sustain, and enhance San Jose as the arts and cultural hub of our region.

    Community Arts Fund (CAF) | NEW ONLINE APPLICATION AVAILABLE
    Provides arts project support of up to $4,000 to Santa Clara County arts, cultural, and community organizations. Emerging groups do not need IRS tax-exempt status 501(c)(3) to qualify. (Annual March deadline.)

    Regional Arts Fund (RAF) | NEW ONLINE APPLICATION AVAILABLE
    Provides general operating support to arts organizations in Santa Clara County with budgets between $100,000 and $2,000,000. The Regional Arts Fund provides grants to a maximum of $5,500, $9,000 or $10,000 depending on the size of the organization. (Annual February deadline.)

    Applied Materials Excellence in the Arts
    An annual granting program funded by Applied Materials, provides two funding opportunities to regional arts organizations regardless of budget size, with focus on small and mid-sized groups.

    • Technical Assistance grants of up to $2,500 for technical assistance (no deadlines)
    • Project Support grants of up to $5,000 for exceptional arts programming (quarterly deadlines)
