Session 1
As part of our Capacity Building series “Upping Your Game,” Arts Council Silicon Valley is pleased to offer Social Media Audit, a proprietary online arts marketing audit and improvement system developed by Groupofminds. Social Media Audit scores arts organizations on their online marketing, identifies problem areas, illustrates solutions based on industry best practice, recommends areas for improvement, and then follows up with them over time to support their expanded capabilities.

Ron is offering Social Media Audit in a format adapted to our annual workshop series, which is a not-to-be-missed opportunity for our local arts groups. To benefit from Social Media Audit, participants must attend two sessions: January 30 and April 30, 2012. The Audit is a 4-step process:
- Initial scoring of participant organizations takes place prior to January 30.
- On January 30, groups meet to discuss scores and learn how to create solutions to marketing problems.
- Groups work on their own during February-March-April. They are rescored at an undisclosed time.
- On April 30, groups meet to discuss new scores, talk though how it's been going, re-examine problem areas, and reinforce best practices.
Social Media Audit is targeted to groups that are already actively engaged with social media. This session is not for beginners or newcomers. Enrollment is limited to 30 people, no more than two per organization. REGISTRATION FEE (for 2-session workshop) is $50.
