Our Organization

ABOUT US
Established in 1982, Arts Council Silicon Valley is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering arts and culture throughout the region. We bring leadership and support to the artists and arts organizations that form the cultural framework of our community.

As a grantmaking agency, we provide funding and fundraising support services to more than 140 local arts organizations and individual artists. We also provide marketing and support services to more than 600 local arts organizations and strive to help make the arts accessible to our youth.

Arts Council Silicon Valley is the official state/local partner with the California Arts Council and the County of Santa Clara. Since our inception, we have distributed more than $25 million in grants and services to the arts in our region.

MISSION
Arts Council Silicon Valley powers a vibrant arts and culture network. We provide grants, services, leadership, and support for arts education throughout the community. As a top funder of the arts in this region, we fuel the creative engines of Silicon Valley.

VISION
We envision a vibrant Silicon Valley, where the arts inspire our innovative spirit, celebrate our rich cultural diversity, and encourage our individual and community involvement.
