Arts Council Silicon Valley today announced that Connie Martinez, Managing Director and CEO of 1stACT Silicon Valley, will assume the leadership of Arts Council Silicon Valley as its Executive Director. This event marks the successful transition into the next phase of the Arts Council’s strategic and implementation plan. Connie Martinez, former Executive Director of the Children’s Discovery Museum and co-founder and Managing Director and CEO of 1stACT Silicon Valley will manage 1stACT’s 2013 “planned sunset” while assuming the role of Executive Director for the Arts Council.

- The Local Arts Grants program replaces Community Arts Fund (CAF) and Regional Arts Fund (RAF)

- Application deadline is March 18, 2013

- Applications must be submitted online through Common Grant Application

- Applicants are required to submit a Cultural Data Project (CDP) funder report
